The SLPC annual Congregational Meeting occurs on the second Sunday in June. This year we will gather on June 14 for a combined worship service at 9:45 AM (if you are able-bodied, please consider parking in the neighborhood) followed by the meeting at 11 AM. This is an important event in the life of the church to reflect on God's faithfulness over the past year and look forward to the year ahead. Since our fiscal year runs from July-June, we ask for the congregation's support of the budget developed by the Finance Committee and approved by the Session.
After the combined worship service and Annual Meeting, we'll have our annual Picnic featuring Mission BBQ at noon. There will also be an opportunity to check out the new church mini-bus!

This will give Jon the opportunity to provide a thoughtful response to your questions prior to the meeting. Jon is unable to be present on the day of the meeting. He is going to record a video message about the budget and will do his best to respond to any individual questions by email prior to the meeting.
