Join us for worship this Sunday!

This Sunday we continue our preaching series from the Gospel of Mark. In our passage for Sunday (Mark 6:30-44), Jesus travels by boat across the Sea of Galilee – seeking rest for his team and looking for a quiet place to pray. But Jesus will find no peace – he can’t escape the crowd, which he describes as sheep without a shepherd.

Life in the 1st century was hard – food was in short supply. Bodies were broken. People of all ages and backgrounds were desperate for healing.

Today, Jesus still invites us to follow him as our gentle Shepherd. Just like he did for his disciples after the resurrection, he wants our focus to shift from sorrow and disbelief to astonishment and joy!
