In December 2025, John Rohrman was called by SLPC to be its next Associate Pastor, providing leadership for the adult Sunday school program, Community Groups, and Outreach, while assisting with shepherding the congregation, teaching, and preaching. In each of these areas, he is passionate about building relationships with people, helping them see how Scripture informs and transforms every aspect of their lives, and walking with them through their joys and struggles.
John came to SLPC from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harleysville, PA, where he had served as Assistant Pastor since January 2021 and Director of Youth Ministries since November 2008. Previous experiences included a non-profit ministry to Philadelphia public school students and internships with the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and the Navigators (at Clemson University). He is local, having graduated from Pennridge High School, Eastern University (Youth Ministry), and Biblical Theological Seminary (Counseling), before completing his training for pastoral ministry through Reformed Theological Seminary’s global degree program.
John’s wife, Adrienne, is the Director of Admissions for a continuing care retirement community, and they have three sons (ranging in age from high school to young adult). In addition to spending time with his family, John also enjoys watching the Phillies and Eagles, researching family history, and learning how to “fix” stuff around the house (thanks, YouTube!).
