Generation Z and Generation Alpha are facing an unprecedented combination of digital influence and emotional distress. As never before, the pace of change young adults are facing has dramatically increased the need for parents, grandparents and concerned friends to understand their world and the challenges that they face.
Shelby Abbott has 27 years of experience as an author, speaker, and campus minister with Cru. Having spoken at universities and conferences across the country, Shelby brings relatable, honest, and biblically grounded approach to conversations about identity, relationships, doubt, stress, and spiritual growth.
He is the author of several books, including Pressure Points: A Guide to Navigating Student Stress and Why We're Feeling Lonely and What We Can Do About It. Shelby encourages students to wrestle honestly with difficult questions, build authentic relationships, and develop a resilient faith that shapes how they live, love, and lead. And he is coming to help us better understand those that we love!
"We will not hide God’s truth from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders.” - Psalm 78:4
