Wednesday Morning

The SLPC Wednesday morning Bible study program will resume on September 11. Will you join us at 9:30 for a brunch buffet and an introduction to the group of your choice? We are excited to offer these 3 options:

1.  Matthew: Making Disciples for the Nations. Who is Jesus, and what does it mean to be His disciple?  Using a thorough study guide on the gospel of Matthew, Janet Albrycht will lead through an exploration of the life of Jesus--who is He, and what does it look like to be His disciple? This combined Zoom/in-person group will meet in the upstairs Conference Room from 9:30 to 11:15. Questions? Contact Janet:  j.e.albrycht@gmail.com

2.  Risen Motherhood: Gospel Hope for Everyday Moments. Is it sometimes confusing and complicated to be a mom? If you're raising kids and want to better understand how to fulfill your important role, this is the group for you. The content and questions in this book will encourage you to remember who Jesus is and who you are in Him. Ciara Bier and Emily Goeller will co-lead this group in the Fellowship Hall from 9:30 to 11. Questions? Contact Ciara: ciarabier2019@gmail.com

3.  Kings and the Kingdom: Who is the King of Kings? What is the Kingdom of God? What is our role in this Kingdom? Led by Jill Sprik, this group will use three consecutive study guides to explore 1 and 2 Kings (10 weeks), the Advent of the Savior (6 weeks), and the Kingdom of God (10 weeks). We will meet in Room 7 from 9:30 to 11. Questions? Contact Jill:  jillsuzannesprik@gmail.com

Some things to know: Child-care is provided for kids and grand-kids. Coffee, tea, and a light snack will be available each week (buffet brunch on the 11th). Books will be available in class ($10). Preparation is optional but is encouraged. Friends are welcome. Classes run from September 11 to May 14; you can join anytime.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
