Each year during the Christmas season, the Mission to Chinese Seamen presents gifts to the seafarers on the ships as they come into the ports of Philadelphia. This gift is a ditty bag filled with hats, scarves, heavy gloves, a greeting card and Scripture. These seafarers have been away from their homes for 6-12 months. This year the ditty bag packing event is being held at SLPC on Saturday, December 10th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are interested in helping with packing and/or financially contributing toward the cost of the ditty bags (300 ditty bags @ $10 each), please contact Hank Albrycht (610-955-8794) h.j.albrycht@gmail.com
